Before the introduction of pillar boxes, in the UK, it was customary to take outgoing mail to the nearest letter Receiving House or post office.

Overview
Receiving House is an identity for property developer Ballymore, a pioneer of some of Europe’s largest regeneration projects. Each completed development post office required a clear voice and a purpose. Staff across the sites were unified by their work processes, but also bound to the distinct social fabric of each of their neighbourhoods. The execution resulted in a minimual typographical structure that takes advantage of broken geometric shapes to re-inforce the human connections this postal receiving service offers. The brandmark works great on its own and served with the addition of each development seal, as a playful element when placed on different printed collateral.
